Kunming Weather in April
Like March, the month of April sees a big rise in temperature, with a maximum temperature of 24 °C (75 °F) and a minimum temperature of 10 °C (50 °F). It is still long-sleeve weather most of the time. During the day, dress in a light sweater or jacket, and in the evening wear more layers. The sun is a little hot and you should ware a sunbonnet or take a beach umbrella when you go outdoors. The weather is still dry so drink more water.

I think you need to ask your doctor for professional advice because some of the visitors with heart attack or hypertension would be careful.
Tips:
- Avoid catching a cold.
- Make sure you have a good sleep the night before you fly to Kunming.
- You'd better not to take any activities for the first day in Kunming.
- After getting off your airplane in the airport, walk slowly, drink slowly, take some deep breath. Do not do anything severely.
- Ascend to higher altitude gradually. DO NOT ASCEND ANY HIGHER if you feel bad.
- Prepare some AMS pills according to your doctor's suggestion, vitamin B and C can make you feel better sooner.
