In Shanghai, three train stations: Shanghai Hongqiao, Shanghai South and Shanghai railway stations operate high-speed trains to Zhenjiang. In Zhenjiang, trains from Shanghai stop at Zhenjiang or Zhenjiang South railway stations.

There are also several normal-speed trains between Shanghai and Zhenjiang, with the travel time of aroud 3 hours. It is not recommended that you take them because they spend more time for the trip and not as comfortable as taking high-speed trains.
