Chongqing is an internet-famous city full of short-visit photo spots, and has striking night views. So 1-3 days is enough for the city visit, and with 4-7 days you can extend to nearby natural attractions or surrounding cities.
But it's not just about "where to go", but how to connect the city's highlights into a smooth trip, while you don't need unnecessary detours and uphill walking.
A more balanced way is to keep your daytime visiting in one or two areas, then save some energy for the night view. In this way, you can experience the cyberpunk 8D charm at different times of the day, without letting the mountain layout affect your visit.
If You Have 1-3 Days in Chongqing
You can focus on Chongqing's city exploration.

3-Day Chongqing in-Depth Tour
This itinerary goes beyond tourist spots and takes you deeper into the city's local neighborhoods and everyday life, giving you a more immersive way to explore Chongqing.

Day 2: underground world and history
Bomb shelters tour → Three Gorges Museum → Xiahaoli
