Weather: February is cold, but not as cold as January. There is an average daily high temperature of 11 °C (52 °F) and an average low temperature of 5 °C (41 °F). The month sees little rain, but you won't feel very dry because of the topographical conditions of the city. Only about 12 mm of rain falls in the entire month.
Clothing: A sweater or coat, thick socks, and a scarf will help you stay warm when you go outside.

See lovely giant pandas: There are three main panda base in and around Chengddu, and you can visit the panda base all year round to see giant pandas.

Experience Qingyang Palace Lantern Festival: Qingyang Palace is an old restored temple about 3 kilometers from downtown Chengdu. Next to it is a park, and on Lantern Festival Day on the night of the full moon 15 days after the start of the new year, lanterns are lit at the temple and in the park. It is one of Chengdu's most popular festivals.
