How to Get to the Terracotta Army from the Railway Stations in Xi'an
From Xi'an Railway Station
You can take bus 914 or 915 from Xi'an Railway Station's East Square to the Terracotta Army (this takes 2 hours and costs 8 CNY, or 1.5 USD).
If you take a taxi, the journey takes about 50 minutes and costs 120 CNY.
From Xi'an North Railway Station
If traveling by public transport, you need to take Metro Line 2 to North Street Station (北大街) and change to Line 1 to Fangzhicheng Station (纺织城站). Leave through exit A and take Tourism Bus 5, 306, or 914 to the Terracotta Army (this takes 2½ hours and costs 14 CNY).
If you take a taxi, the journey takes about 1 hour and costs 150 CNY.
