Lijiang Tours
Lijiang, enjoying the accolade "the pearl on the Yunnan plateau", is the destination not to miss on a Yunnan tour and the favorite place of American explorer, Josher Rock. Lijiang could be "a gentle woman", touching your heart with its romantic old towns and peaceful Lugu Lake. Or it could be "a handsome man", inviting you to hike along the magnificent Tiger Leaping Gorge and up Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.
If you are interested in minority culture, let's talk to a shaman of the Naxi ethnic minority, listen to a piece of Naxi music, and taste the Naxi pancakes.
No matter whether you want to go to Lijiang for a relaxing break, a memorable adventure, or a cultural exploration, we are happy to customize a Lijiang tour according to your interests and schedule.

One of our highlights was to meet one of the local Dongba of the Naxi people in his family home. The Naxi are one of China's minority groups...We were so inspired to learn about the Naxi people and their language and culture. Our guide Deniel had excellent English and was really informative about the local history and customs and took us on a breathtaking high level walk above leaping tiger gorge, making some incredible memories. We also enjoyed a delicious meal in a local Naxi restaurant. More...
- Philippa H from UKHad a wonderful time with our tour guides Cactus and Jin. In the time of COVID it was a great relief to have help sorting through protocols for entering tourist sights. Excellent lunch options. The juggling and sugar candy art in the hutong was a real treat. Great thing about touring now - no crowds. Highly recommended tour operator for anyone traveling to Beijing.
