hi Harris, the chance of the temperature goes down to cooler is slim during September except there is typhoon . A thin coat protect you from sun is suggested. Enjoy your stay in Nanjing. Sammi Dai Replied on 2012-07-17

Is air pollution a problem in Nanjing?
I studied in Nanjing from 2000 to 2004. When I was there, the city was very dirty. Rivers were seriously polluted. The air was not clean that you could rarely see a blue sky. The polluation is very obvious even today. Ruru Zhou Replied on 2010-12-07
Hi everyone, At this moment I''m living in Nanjing and we already had 3 weeks with blue sky. It''s amazing how beautiful it''s been and about the pollution... I think it''s minimal!!! guest Replied on 2012-08-07
I suppose the answer to this question depends on your standard of comparison. All Chinese cities of pollution problems so that is the easiest answer to your question. I have lived in Beijing (1998-2004) and Nanjing is considerably cleaner than that city. I''ve lived here for 7 years and find it to be no dirtier than other major Chinese cities and cleaner in many respects. guest Replied on 2011-03-18
