Tom has been an amazing guide during our trip to Beijing. He explained us a lot about all the attractions we have visited, giving details about the history behind.Always on time, always flexible to accomodate our needs and requests. He gave us a lot of great suggestions about what to do in the free time and about restaurants.Has been a real pleasure to have him as guide, hope everyone can have someone like him during their time in Beijing.

Mark is a knowledgeable private guide with good English skills. He always had a story or tips to share at each location we visited. Also he and Mr Joe the driver were very flexible. We were there leading up to a military parade and so some locations were restricted around Tiananmen Square and so they worked late to help us navigate the situation and accomplish our goal to see the square.

We had the chance for traveling to the Great Wall (Mutianyu section) and we really enjoyed the experience.Bruce was our guide and was absolutely helpful and supportive.And also a great photographer!

During our pleasant stay in Beijing, we had the wonderful opportunity to have Nina as our tour guide. Professional, very kind and trustworthy, she made our trip through the Beijing's uthong, Forbidden City, the Summer Palace and the Great wall a even more pleasant experience. The tour was well scheduled, with lots of different activities. Nina has been flexible, patient and even stayed longer to ensure we had the best time during our stay. Such a highly recommended experience!?

Viajamos a China con China Highlights y comenzamos en Beijing. Nuestra guía, Lidia, hizo sin duda que nuestra experiencia como familia fuera fantástica. Cambiamos de opinión sobre determinadas visitas, a pesar de tenerlas acordadas previamente y se adaptó perfectamente a lo que solicitamos. Un 10/10. We were accompanied by our tour guide Tina for three days. We visited Beijing's main attractions (the Temple of Heaven, the hutongs with a calligraphy experience and tea with a local family, the Summer Palace, Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City), and the Great Wall of China at Jinshanling. Tina was very professional in explaining the details of the places we visited and Chinese culture, always offering helpful advice. We didn't have to worry about anything because her organization of the tour was perfect. A wonderful experience.

The experience with Tom was good. Very good choice of venues and restaurants and a lot of good experiences in a short timespan.

We had a great experience with the Great Wall and Forbidden City tour. Our guide, Kevin - was very patient and knowledgeable. The Great Wall was an amazing sight, we were able to walk for about 30 minutes on this tourist-oriented section of the Wall; we were fortunate that the weather was misty and rainy- most days during the summer are very hot and humid. After a lunch nearby, we went on a tour of the Forbidden City; The former palace is a huge area full of history. I highly recommend this tour.

We booked a hike through China Highlights, where we hiked an unrestored part of the Great Wall. Our tour guide, Oliver, was very nice and shared a lot of history along the way. The hike was about four hours long and took us through various terrain. It was very beautiful.

Excelente trato, maravillosa visita. Mark ha estado muy atento y ha solucionado l'ós peque?os problemes de una família que hasta hoy nunca havia estado en Beijing.

Our family had a great time in Beijing. Colin, our guide, was knowledgeable and thoughtful with our children. They all liked him very much. He has a kind demeanor and made great suggestions for food and activities. He even called ahead to a restaurant to make sure they had a certain vegetable for us that we all loved. They didn't - but then the cook went out to the market to buy and make it for us. :) Colin knew where all the right spots were to take the best pictures along the great wall and we have some absolutely amazing photos. We hope to come back one day and explore more!

My experience in Beijing was fantastic. Our local guide, Ethan, made the visit very enjoyable in a perfect English. He attended to all requests and he was very attentive. So many recomendable.

He was waiting at the airport from the minute we arrived and took us around comfortably to see the multiple sights and sounds of Beijing. His recommendation for a local restaurant for Peking duck was excellent. He was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful throughout.

Jennifer, our guide, and Rao (our driver) were just fantastic. They always went above and beyond making sure we had whatever we needed and tailored the tour to us. They had all the tips to ensure our experience was as best as possible!!

We are a family of 4, which includes 17-year-old twins. We just completed two weeks in China. We started in Beijing, then went to Xi'an, and then to Guilin, and we ended in Shanghai. We had such a great time in Beijing, thanks to Nina! We felt really lucky that we were assigned to Nina because she is such a caring person and is passionate about her job. She took great care of us and made sure that we were able to see everything we wanted to see. Nina went above and beyond to help us even after the tour was done. She was a godsend because we have two people with celiac disease, and they can't eat gluten, so you can imagine how stressful this was for us, our first night trying to navigate finding food. Nina took care of us and took us to a hot pot restaurant and made sure to explain to them the importance of no soy sauce or wheat. She was very careful when ordering our food every day and made sure to find food that was enjoyable for the members with celiac. We greatly appreciate how well she took care of us. Beijing was a wonderful experience and a great start to our trip. We highly recommend Nina as a tour guide.

Visité Beijing y otras 3 ciudades entre el 06/06 y el 19/06. Sólo lamento no haber podido disponer de mayor tiempo para seguir disfrutando la experiencia. El país de mis antepasados excedió mis expectativas. Mucha modernidad, e imágenes de una país muy distintas a las imágenes de 30 a?os atrás. Me alegro también de haber contactado con China Highlights cuyo servicio y asistencia recomiendo. Un saludo muy especial para Lidia, la guía en espa?ol que nos asignó la agencia. Más allá de la persona responsable y profesional que nos indicaron, hallamos en ella una persona siempre preocupada por la calidad de servicio y el bienestar de su cliente y, más importante aún, alguien en quien confiar y apreciar como amiga. Esperamos volver a encontrarte en el futuro.

Great tour! Jennifer, our tour guide, was outstanding. She always made sure we understood everything related to each monument we visited.

China Highlights is totally legit and they planned our visit in Beijing perfectly, they were also great with being flexible to meet our unique needs and timelines, with multiple changes on the fly. Our guide in Beijing, William, was amazing as well! William was friendly, kind, thoughtful, funny, and also was great at keeping us on track timing-wise (as we didn’t make this particularly easy for him lol). Cannot recommend both China Highlights and William to anyone else looking to visit China for the first time!

Beijing was prettier and far less crowded than anticipated. Colin aka Po Po, our guide, enhanced the experience with his knowledge and wicked sense of humour. He made every moment special for us.We spent about three days in Beijing and surrounds. China highlights offerings were high quality, including accomodation, car, driver, guide and selection of real local restaurants. Being vegetarian wasn’t an issue at all. Visiting historical quarter of Beijing along with Hutong walk and Confucius Beijing temple were unique experiences- which became more special with Colin’s interest in philosophy and wonderful global perspective. Despite language barriers- we were greeted by scores of locals with genuine smile and curiosity. We shall be back (hopefully with Colin) to explore this wonderful culture.

We had a group tour for our clients and William was our guide. He was knowledgeable, kind and flexible throughout the tour. Our clients loved the way he explained diverse topics. We would recommend him for our future groups too.Thank you William and God bless!

Picked up at the airport, stayed in a 4 star hotel, visited the Forbidden City, the Chinese wall, Sumner Palace, Tiananmen Square, the Temple of Heaven and brought to the Tianjin Cruise terminal. Everything is "thanks" to enthusiastic guide Tina and cheerful female driver Lily from China Highlights. We heard and saw everything in a great atmosphere, from beautiful places to a special culture, history and social life. A wonderful experience of a private tour, reliable and well organized. Recommended!
