Nuestra estancia en Shanghái ha sido fantástica. En gran medida gracias a Francisco, nuestro extraordinario y muy amable guía. Para empezar es bilingue "de verdad" (chino / espa?ol), pero es que, además, sus comentarios son precisos y rigurosos. !Y qué decir de su detalle final!

Nuestra experiencia en Shanghái fue increíble, en gran parte gracias a nuestro guía, Francisco. Siempre atento y disponible, nos acompa?ó por los lugares más emblemáticos de la ciudad: el Jardín de Yuyuan, el Templo del Buda de Jade, la Concesión Francesa (especialmente el barrio Xintiandi), el famoso Bund y la impresionante Torre de Shanghái, donde subimos hasta el mirador para disfrutar de una vista panorámica inolvidable. Sus recomendaciones fueron excelentes, especialmente en lo culinario donde probamos platos típicos en restaurantes auténticos que no habríamos encontrado por nuestra cuenta.

Kenny was an absolutely amazing guide. She told us about the history of Shanghai and a lot of the wonderful sights. She also was able to quickly make changes to tour arrangements on the fly due to weather.

We just spent three wonderful days in this very special city.First day we were guided by Sean from China Highlights who showed us some of the most important touristic points, the TV tower, the bund, the garden.Friendly and with very good humor, he not added a lot of information but also entertained us. The following two days we were by ourselves, but Sean provided valuable insights. We walked through the French concession, exploited shikumen architecture, visited the narrow streets of Tian Anzi and later on the third days, the Shanghai museum and people’s square and took profit of the inumerous stores for some shopping .Great trip, great value.Thanks, Sean

Qi, our private guide in Shanghai, was very good. She was very flexible to our needs, and changed a few things for us. Qi was charming and helpful and good to chat with.Also I’d like to acknowledge and recommend Vanessa from China Travel who worked with my wife to create a perfect 15 day China tour plan for us. Vanessa was very responsive and understood what we wanted. We had a private tour, and I know this can be expensive, but if you can afford it the private tour is well worth the money.

Great days in Shangai with Lucí, a very kind and profesional tour Guide She has traveled a lot and she is very fluently in Spanish and English

My wife and I took a 15 day tour of China; commencing 24/04/2025 and ending 08/05/2025 and of this, we spent 3 days in Shanghai; from 06/05/2025 to 08/05/2025. We thoroughly enjoyed our visits to the various historical sites in Shanghai of; The Bund, Yuyuan Garden, French Concession Region, Shanghai Tower and the one day shopping around the city; which were all planned exceptionally well. To our tour guide, Ms Kenny, thank you sincerely for looking after us really well and sharing your immense knowledge on the sites and locations around Shanghai. The facilities of the hotels and vehicles provided were also of high standard and we sincerely thank China Travel and Kenny for organizing and presenting us with fond memories China and Shanghai. Thank You.

Elle nous a fait découvrir vraiment avec le coeur et surtout sa bonne humeur cette belle ville remplie d histoire bravo. My friends and I spent two wonderful days in Shanghai and around. The tour was organized by Stella. Our guide, Winnie, made both tours unforgettable. She was knowledgeable, spoke perfect English, and had a great sense of humor. Even the lunches were delicious—authentic but not too spicy. Thank you to the tour company for such perfect holidays

Kris in Shanghai is very attentive, and answered all our questions very quickly and professionally. He has in-depth knowledge about all the places.More importantly, he spent time getting to know our needs during our short stay in Shanghai. Excellent guide!

We had a great time visiting Shanghai through China highlights with Kris as our guide. He was kind, knowledgeable and a great guide for our short visit in Shanghai, our last stop of our 2 week tour on Mainland China. We visited the highlights, walked on the Bund, visit to the top of Shanghai tower. Also visited the old town and Yu hardens, as well as the Jade Buddha Temple. Kris suggested the perfect restaurant for lunch, one of my husbands favorite meals of our trip, and found a great vendor to purchase the DragonWell tea we loved. His suggestion for a dinner spot was appreciated as well. Such a memorable trip! Our hotel MaxX was in a great location, however our room was a bit of a disappointment after our previous 5 star hotels. This may have been due to our late arrival and location on a lower floor with minimal views and quite small. Other rooms may be better. However, we’d recommend China highlights and Kris as a guide, he met us at the airport with snake water and all our vehicle was extremely comfortable.

William was a great guide. He was very knowledgeable about the history and architecture of Shanghai. I would definitely recommend him and China Highlights!

We have spent two days in Shanghai during Chinese holiday week. It was extremely busy, we've never seen that many people in our life. However, our tour guide Sean did an excellent job in giving us a great experience. Thank you!

We had only a day and a half to explore Shanghai, right in the middle of the busy May 1st holiday period, and thanks to Mary, we made the absolute most of it. We spent 4 days in Shanghai and Winni was our guide. She really made the difference for us to spend such a nice time and enjoy our trip. She had such a nice way of telling the story behind each spot visited and so much knowledge. Definitely recommend her!

The perfect finale to our 2 week whirlwind around China. Shanghai is a beautiful modern city with an incredible skyline. We stayed on the Bund, the views from our hotel were spectacular. Roy was a wonderful guide for or brief time in Shanghai. Due to a weather related delay in our travel, our time was even more limited. Roy communicated with us throughout, and made the best of our time there. We immediately went to Shanghai tower from the airport, and the night views from the top were unbelievable. From the top, Roy gave us a lay of the land and a great history of how Shanghai has developed over the years. Then it was off to a quick dinner, and Old Town. Yu Garden was our final stop before flying out. Amazing chinese garden. Roy brought the facts regarding this historic garden. Solid logistics and transport, and juggled some other commitments to take us around. Thank you Roy for showing us around your amazing city!

Our group of 4 had a wonderful trip to Shanghai and Suzhou. Our tour guide Karen Wen with China Highlights was fantastic! She was energetic, sweet, knowledgeable and genuinely wanted to show us the local foods, the culture and scenery of Shanghai and Suzhou. Our trip was made much more fun and perfect thanks to the cheerful and caring manners of Karen. We would look her up again next time we are in Shanghai. Highly recommend Karen for Shanghai/Suzhou tour.

Shanghai was our last stop of the 12 day tour of China. Our guide, William, was there to meet us of the train with a big smile. He was professional, and caring and considerate of our well being the whole time he was with us. He shared his knowledge of the Shanghai sights we visited, he chose good local restaurants and helped to find meals that highlighted local cuisine. He had a good sense of humor too!

Kris has been a great companion for the visit to Linhai ancient walls, been with us making everything easy and enjoyable, including a yummy lunch in a nice Chinese restaurant! Many thanks!

We had an amazing experience with Kris as our guide to Linhai! From start to finish, he was knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly thoughtful. Not only did he give us a fantastic tour of the ancient Great Wall of Linhai, sharing historical details, but he also went the extra mile by recommending a wonderful local restaurant where we enjoyed an authentic and delicious meal. After lunch, Kris suggested some lovely places to shop, and thanks to him, we found beautiful local things we wouldn’t have discovered on our own. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide – highly recommend Kris to anyone visiting Linhai!
