This time Jenny was my guide and she is a wealth of knowledge and very accommodating in regards to making sure my visit exceeded expectations. One thing I did really appreciate was her suggesting the best days and times to visit the sights to minimize the crowds as August is very busy with Chinese tourists heading to the same sights as was in my schedule. Everything went smoothly and while intense was never overwhelming. I also loved her choices for food and showing me places where the cuisine was unique to this province.

Xian is an extraordinary city, and Crystal was just as extraordinary. From the moment we arrived at the airport, both she and the driver proved to be reliable, helpful, and incredibly kind. We visited the Terracotta Museum, following her advice to leave early in the morning. This gave us the opportunity to see this extraordinary discovery up close with fewer people. The guide was always eager to explain something to us, whether it was about the language, history, or traditions. She's a person with a golden heart, very knowledgeable, and passionate about her work. Amidst so much history, there were plenty of opportunities for calligraphy and cooking classes. Not to forget the evening at the theatre organised by Crystal, who even took the time to buy our tickets and wait for us at the theatre, even though it was already evening.The driver was truly top-notch and incredibly kind. What can I say, an unforgettable experience.

We had the honor to explore the city together with Crystal and her driver. An amazing and heartwarming couple, always with a smile on their faces and ready to help out. Extremely knowledgeable and always with an explanation ready for us. The tour to the terracotta worriers was an unforgettable experience also thanks to our guides advice and explanations. We had the opportunity to get to know the city not only throughout museums but also trough the daily life. Been extremely happy and will certainly come back for more exploring.

Xi’an is a wonderful place, our guide MARK was perfect, he gave some amazing details about terracotta warriors and history of China. We enjoyed a lot travelling with China Highlights. Highly recommended!

Xi'an greeted us with open arms - and a record breaking heatwave. At 42°C, the ancient city felt like a furnace. Outdoor explorations turned into sweat-drenched sprints between shaded oases. But thanks to Susan, our brilliant local guide, we adapted the schedule to explore some air-conditioned havens.

Abbiamo avuto la fortuna di avere Crystal come guida durante la nostra visita a Xi'an e non potevamo chiedere di meglio! Fin dal primo momento si è dimostrata preparata, professionale e appassionata del suo lavoro. Con entusiasmo ci ha accompagnati alla scoperta delle meraviglie di questa splendida città, rendendo ogni tappa interessante e coinvolgente. Ma non è finita qui: abbiamo avuto un problema con la nostra stanza in hotel e grazie al suo tempestivo intervento, non solo ci è stata assegnata una camera superiore, ma abbiamo anche ricevuto graditissimi omaggi. Grazie a Crystal, il nostro soggiorno a Xi’an è stato semplicemente perfetto. Consigliatissima a chiunque voglia vivere un’esperienza autentica e senza pensieri!

We had a very good time in Xi'an. Our guide Susan lead us in visiting the terracotta warriors, the muslim quartier. On Susan's advice we also enjoyed the "Silk Road show: The Legend of Camel Bell" , a very fascinating play. Our departure flight was delayed but Susan arranged a nice visit to the Hanyangling museum to spend our extra time. Very good experience.

We stayed three days in Xi'an where we were greeted by Lin with whom we could see the most interesting parts of the city, Lin also made us savor the local cuisine. She was also very helpful in guiding us for shopping. Lin has always been friendly and helpful making you feel at home.

Lin was a perfect guide for our trip in Xian. She was friendly and energic and she always listened to our requests. Reccomened

We had a great time in Xian. Li Ying took us to see the local sites like the city walls and suggested a calligraphy lesson which we really enjoyed.The Terra-cotta Warriors were amazing and Li Yang did a great job of helping us navigate the crowds (we were travelling in peak season) and get the most out of our visit.

Hermosa experiencia, pasamos 2 días compartidos con Liang en Xi'An, por medio de China Highlights, recorriendo los imponentes guerreros de terracota y demás destacados de tan importante ciudad para la historia. Liang tiene un gran manejo del espa?ol, nos ayudó mucho con las comidas y sus recomendaciones fueron muy buenas. ?Muchas gracias!

We had a great stay in Xian with Lin as our guide. She was very enthusiastic to make us discover her city. Thanks to her as well, lunches were an adventure full of wonderful surprises. She was also full of lovely attentions and very professional. Thanks for your welcome. Bravo. Congrats.

Jenny liebt ?ihre? Stadt und versteht es ihre Begeisterung für die grossartigen Kultursch?tze dieser einzigartigen Stadt auf Ihre G?ste zu übertragen. We arrived in Xi’an in the evening, checked in, and went straight to see the Big Wild Goose Pagoda — beautiful lit up at night — and finished the day with amazing biangbiang noodles for dinner. Day 1: The Terracotta Warriors were the highlight — so impressive and very well organized, even with tens of thousands of other visitors! In the evening we did some relaxed shopping in the city (the girls even got their nails done) and enjoyed the local vibe. Day 2: We started with a tasty dumpling course, then explored the Muslim Quarter and the peaceful Great Mosque, with time for street food and souvenirs. In the afternoon we took the train to Chengdu — everything went smoothly. Perfect transfers, delicious food, so much history and culture — and a good, smooth driver and perfect guide, the twin Lins, made it all easy and fun. Xi’an is absolutely worth it — highly recommend!

Jenny from ChinaHighlights showed us, among many other sites, the TerracottaArmy, Citywall, Muslim Quarter, WildGoosePagoda and even local markets and tea houses. We enjoyed our visit to Xi'An very much. One of the Highlights was the light-ride to see the city by night. She was not only funny and charming but can solve any problem and knows her Hometown Xi'An and its history very well.

We are a family of 4, which includes 17-year-old twins. We just completed two weeks in China. We started in Beijing, then went to Xi'an, and then to Guilin, and we ended in Shanghai. We had a great tour guide in Jenny. She is very proud of her city and is very knowledgeable. What stood out about Jenny is that she made you feel safe and taken care of. She was able to keep our two teens engaged during the tours, and we all walked away with new things we learned. We definitely recommend Jenny as a tour guide. Jenny was very careful when ordering our food because we have two people with celiac disease, and they can't eat gluten. Jenny made sure that the restaurants we ate at were careful. Jenny was very attentive and made sure that we were taken care of.

Gemeinsam mit Jenny Yang habe ich drei Tage die wundersch?ne Stadt Xi'an erkundet und bin mit tollen Entdeckungen weitergefahren. Jenny's Wissen der historischen und aktuellen Bedeutung der Region für deren Entwicklung hat mich begeistert. Temperamentvoll und engagiert lie? sie mich auch am authentischen Leben in der Stadt teilnehmen, dadurch hatte ich wundervolle Begegnungen mit interessanten Menschen. Meine Ispiration Xi'an nochmals zu besuchen und wieder mit Jenny Yang Neues zu entdecken, habe ich mit nach Hause genommen. Mein Programm waren, Die gro?e Wildganspagode, die Terrakotta Armee, das muslimische Vietel, die Stadtmauer, die Dynastie Show und viele kleine Begegnungen haben mir bleibende Erinnerungen geschenkt, dafür herzlich Dank Barbara

My friends and I are here to celebrate a couple of birthday's one being a big special one. Visiting Xi’an was an unforgettable experience, made truly exceptional by our incredible tour guide Crystal . From start to finish, she went above and beyond to ensure every moment was seamless and special. Nothing was ever too much trouble—her kindness, deep knowledge of the city’s vast history, and genuine care made us feel so welcomed and cared for, we had a great laugh with her, my friend gave her a new name, "Pocket Rocket " she was so fast and got things done. Thanks to her, we not only saw the sights but truly connected with the culture. I would % recommend her to anyone visiting Xi’an, I doubt you'd find a more dedicated or thoughtful guide. She's passionate and thoroughly enjoys her job.

My partner and I had an amazing 3 days in Xian thanks to our great tour guide Jerry, who showed us the wonderful sites. He was very knowledgeable, chatty and has a great sense of humour making the trip fun and memorable. Jerry very quickly learned that we are foodies, during our food tour he selected some delicious treats for us to try.

Xi'an es nuestra cuarta ciudad visitada en nuestro viaje por China. Visitar los guerreros de terracota, el barrio musulman y la muralla con sus templos ha sido una experiencia increíble, pero sin duda, nuestro guía Antonio, ha sido lo mejor de ésta experiencia. Antonio es un guía con un nivel de espa?ol extraordinario, muy profesional y creativo. Nos ha explicado los detalles de la ciudad y las dinastías además de muchas historias muy interesantes sobre los acontecimientos históricos que han tenido ligar en China. Antonio ha hecho nuestra visita muy agradable y nos hemos divertido muchísimo. Si hablais espa?ol, sin duda Antonio es vuestro guía.

Wir waren in Xi'an ganz kurz im Rahmen einer Rundreise, die wir mit der Hilfe der Agentur China Highlights organisiert haben. Dank unserer Reiseleiterin Jenny Yang hatten wir eine tolle, interessante und stimmungsfolle Führung zu der Terrakotta Armee und haben an gleichem Abend noch andere sch?ne Seiten der Stadt kennen gelernt. Die kurze Aufenthalt hat bei uns so einen sch?nen Eindruck hinterlassen, dass wir sehr gerne nach Xi'an wieder reisen würden!

I'm so happy to travel in China for 21 days with China Highlights! My two days with Lin, my guide in Xi'an, were wonderful. She welcomed me with a great kindness at the huge Xi'an train station and showed great sense of service. She speaks an excellent English and taught me a lot about the Terracotta Warriors. We also visited different parts of Xi'an before heading to the airport. Thank you so much, Lin, you are an excellent guide ??

Susan of China Highlights was a terrific guide. She knew the best entrance for seeing the Terra Cotta Warriors, helped us get Hanfu costumes at reasonable cost and gamely took photos for us, secured tickets to a wonderful Camel Legend show about the Silk Road, took us to an interesting heritage museum to learn about the Tang Dynasty, and as a special treat, introduced us to local residents and their activities. At her suggestion, we also went to the right part of town at night to enjoy the old city wall lighted up.

Nuestra experiencia en XI'AN ha sido maravillosa!. La ciudad es fantástica tanto de día como de noche y tiene unas auténticas maravillas para ver. Nuestra guía YING es de lo mejor! Ha sido muy amable, atenta y siempre ha estado dispuesta a ayudar en todo. Teníamos siempre frutas en nuestro coche!!! Nuestro chofer también súper simpático y amable!

As part of our China Highlights Tour my wife and I spent 2 nights and one full day in Xi’an. What a day it was! Guide Jenny and a driver picked us up early at our hotel and during the hour drive out to see the Terra Cotta Warriors Jenny explained the history of Xi’an and the region. She is highly knowledgeable and speaks English perfectly clear. Once there she gave us a thorough tour. We continued discussion at lunch before going to see a show, then to a tour of the Xi’an City Wall and finished the day with snacks at the Muslim Quarter. Jenny never lost energy and gave us more than our money’s worth. Very highly recommended!
