From October the weather begins to cool a bit. The month is warm, with an average high temperature of 27°C (80°F) and an average low temperature of 22°C (77°F). With just occasional rains, the city remains a bit humid, but less so than during the previous month. It is windy at night, which may give you a chill. Summer clothing still works, but bring a long-sleeve skirt to stay warm in the cool rains or a sudden strong wind. Thunderstorms and typhoons are rare, and there is almost no bad weather in this month. You'll likely feel mild and comfortable most of the time.

The city begins to receive a large number of tourists starting in October. Most of the attractions are at their best for visitors, except that swimming is not recommended because the water is a bit cool.

October is the peak of travel season, and October 1st is Chinese National Day, which means that many people are on a week-long holiday. Book in advance as flight and train tickets are difficult to reserve. Hotel room prices are also several times higher than usual, so consider avoiding travel during this peak period. have typhoon in october 15?
Hi Manilyn, thank you for your questions. I'm Nora, a trip adviosr of China Highlights. Macau is under the attach of typhoon. The weather forecast says the impact will last till Oct. 6. So far we don't have any news for typhoon on Oct. 15. Have typhoon during 1 Oct - 4 Oct?
Hi Ping There are typhoons all year around Macau, and mainly in April to September. So far there is no forecast released for the typhoon in October.
