Qinhuangdao Transportation
Air
The Shanhaiguan Airport of Qinhuangdao is 13 kilometers from the city center. There are flights to Shanghai, Guangzhou, Nanjing and Dalian every week.
Waterway
Passenger liners run between Dalian and Qinhuangdao every week. The one-way trip takes about 14 hours.
Railway
As the traffic hub between north China and northeast China, there are some railway arteries including Qinhuangdao to Shenyang, Beijing to Harbin and Beijing to Qinhuangdao. The trains to the north China all start from Qinhuangdao Station, while the ones to the northeast China start at Shanhai Pass Station. These years, there are some summer tourist trains from Beijing to Beidaihe, Shanhai Pass and other places.
