Mid-autumn Festival

The temperature declines a little more this month, and it is cooler than during the previous two months, but remains hot during the day. The highest temperature is above 30 °C (86 °F) but the lowest temperature falls below 18 °C (64 °F). During the day, summer clothing is enough but during the evening wear long-sleeve skirts to stay warm.

The Mid-autumn Festival (the 15th of the eighth lunar month in China) usually takes place this month. At this festival, enjoy delicious moon cakes, a glorious full moon (a traditional custom for families and friends who get together), and numerous folk performances, such as a temple fair, a garden party, lantern riddles, and so on.
