Li River, one of the most famous scenic areas, was listed as one of the world's 15 best rivers for travelers by CNN Travel in 2013. It is the representative one of Guilin karst formations as well as the landmark of Chinese landscape scenery. Originating from Mao'er Mountain in Xing'an County, north-east of Guilin, the Li River winds its way south-east for about 270 miles, passing through Guilin, Yangshuo, Pingle and Zhaoping, and finally meets the Xi River in Wuzhou City. Among them, the 52-miles-long waterway from Guilin to Yangshuo is considered to be the best part for a cruise because of the stunning scenery along the bank. Millions of gorgeous karst peaks stand at the riverbank under the blue sky. Water buffaloes patrol the rice fields. Cormorants stand in one line on the bamboo boat. As long as you take part in the cruise, the eye-catching landscape and country scenery will never disappoint you.
