Bird's NestBird's Nest: The Bird's Nest, also known as the National Stadium, was the main venue of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. It was designed by Pritzker Architecture Prize Winner, Jacques Herzog de Meuron and Chinese Architect Li Xinggang. It is shaped like a bird's nest, with its lattice of struts and cradle-like curves. read more

 

Water CubeWater Cube: The Water Cube, also known as the National Aquatics Center, is located on Beijing's Olympic Green. It was built as the main natatorium for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games and became known as one of the Games symbolic structures. It was mainly designed by engineers John Pauline and Toby Wong. Its design was based on the way soap bubbles come together in a 12 or 14 sided cell structure.read more
