Tianjin–Hangzhou High-Speed Trains vs Normal-Speed Trains

If you have a tight schedule, high-speed trains are highly recommended. If you want to experience an overnight train trip, you can buy a sleeper ticket to enjoy the time. An overnight train ticket can save you time during the day to do some sightseeing and can also save you one night’s hotel expenses.

Compared with normal-speed trains, the high-speed train option between Tianjin and Hangzhou will be a better one. The high-speed trains take less time and the facilities on board are much better. They’re also punctual in most cases.

In addition, second class on a high-speed train offers more legroom than economy class on a flight. Therefore, most people consider that taking a high-speed train is more comfortable than taking a flight.

The normal-speed trains are all air-conditioned, with a pillow and blanket for each bunk. Among the overnight sleeper trains between the cities, the Z trains are much better.

Z trains are non-stop express trains or trains that only stop at large stations, so this type of train offers a more reasonable journey duration than K trains.
