Wuhan is the capital of Central China's Hubei Province. Shiyan is situated in the northwest of Hubei Province. Twelve pairs of high-speed trains cut the traveling time between Wuhan and Shiyan in half, making it more convenient for passengers with a journey duration of 2 hours.
Nine pairs of normal-speed trains also run between the cities daily. The overall journey duration is about 4½-8 hours.

Station Information
Wuhan has three railway stations: Wuhan Railway Station, Hankou Railway Station, and Wuchang Railway Station. There are two railway stations in Shiyan, namely Shiyan Railway Station and Shiyan East Railway Station.
All of the high-speed trains between Wuhan and Shiyan depart from Hankou Railway Station and stop at Shiyan East Railway Station. All of the normal-speed trains depart from Wuchang Railway Station and stop at Shiyan Railway Station.
