Weather: It is much warmer in March, and it is a popular tourism month for the flower festivals and gardens. The average nightly low temperature is 7 °C (45 °F), and the average daily high temperature is 14 °C (57 °F). It feels cold at night due to the high humidity of 78% and the wind. Compounding the cold is the lack of heating in many public places.

East Lake Park: Spring is a great time to see this huge park. The renowned Mo Hill gardens has 13 special gardens and 360 kinds of plants, and gets a million visitors a year. The park has a plum blossom festival in early March, and an even more popular cherry blossom festival from mid/late March to early April.
Hubei Provincial Museum: This big museum in East Lake Park is stocked with interesting ancient artifacts and displays about Hubei and its history. You will appreciate the ancient artwork, the metal pieces, and the beautiful ceramics.
