Train Travel Tips
Most trains running from Xi'an to Luoyang depart from Xi'an. However, be aware that when you travel from Luoyang to Xi'an, the trains pass through Luoyang. This means that the trains only stay in Luoyang for a very short time, usually up to 10 minutes. You have to be quick to board the train.
Normal-speed trains depart and arrive on the same day and there are also overnight trains. You can choose the best one to fit your schedule. Overnight trains can also save a night's hotel bill.
