What are the Differences between Star Zodiac Signs and Chinese Zodiac Signs?

1. Sun zodiac signs are based on the position of the sun at the time of a person's birth month and date, while Chinese zodiac signs are based on a 12-year cycle of animals.
2. Zodiac signs follow the Gregorian calendar, while Chinese zodiac signs follow the Chinese lunar calendar (in popular Chinese astrology).

Who Created the Sun Zodiac Signs?
Sun zodiac signs were defined by Babylonians to predict the position of celestial bodies and the occurrence of events such as solar and lunar eclipses. The concept of sun zodiac signs, as we know them today, was developed in the early centuries of Babylonia (c. 1830–626 BC) by Babylonian astronomers, who divided the sky into 12 equal parts.
The ancient Greeks (c. 800 BC – 480 AD) assigned each zodiac sign a name inspired by Greek mythology, and added further meaning to the signs. This also had great influence on Hindu astrology (also known as Vedic astrology) and Arabic astrology.
